poncho_lrgPoncho No 8 opened in Spitalfields six months ago and if we're being honest the burritos weren't really happening initially but gradual improvements and the arrival of a new Mexican chef have resulted in really great burrito and a packed shop at lunch.

There's no more weird soggy peppers or collapsing wraps and most importantly you get a very generous helping of chicken which is much thicker sliced than normal so it doesn't dry out on the grill.
poncho_burritoIt's still not the fastest counter in the world but the £5 chicken fajita is now in the Daddy Donkey league and is well worth the wait outside.

I visited Poncho No 8 on a few occasions and was really disappointed each time. The burrito was way too salty, the seasoning all wrong and overall the burrito was too small for the price. Maybe I just went on bad days?! Now I go to Pilpel around the corner for falafel instead. Poncho No 8 need many more improvements before they can be compared to Daddy Donkey!

Poncho 8 serves the best burriots in London and is also the friendliest for getting served. the Pork is my favourite, but I’d happily eat any of their meals. Keep up the good work
