The Anchor

The Anchor is an historic pub, reknowned as the location where Samuel Pepys watched the Great Fire of London. A later fire burnt down the original building in 1676 and it was rebuilt with subsequent modernisations over the years. The restaurant menu includes mainly British dishes such as Beef & Bombardier Ale Pie, Fish & Chips, steaks and grilled fish dishes. A outdoor terrace area overlooks the Thames.
